The stages of my career as an artist – Part 6
Series of articles on the different stages of my career as an artist. Madrid 2010.

Paintings on image above from left to right:
- Pareja 57×115 (private collection).
- Maddalena 100×105 (available for sale).
- Kimono 30×100 (sold).
2010 was a year of big changes. I started experimenting with new materials: gold, silver and copper leafs. And I had the opportunity to participate with 10 paintings to the 13th International Art Exposition Beijing.
Colors
Orange, Terra de Judea and green were added to my color palette. Orange was used to paint small details. Green was mainly used to cover backgrounds like in “Woman with fan”, “Emma”, and “Pagliaccio” (see sold paintings below).
German Lilly
Mix on canvas. 220×62 cm. Left in Beijing.
I was excited to participate in the 13th International Art Exposition Beijing. Unfortunately, a huge and important acquisition of most of the pieces turned out to be a scam. Fortunately, only one of the paintings was lost.

State of paintings
Most paintings have been sold. There are only 2 paintings available for sale. (I keep 5 works in my private collection).
I’ve relocated many times over the years, so my paintings have suffered some stress due to changes in environmental humidity and temperature.
